Public Service Announcement from the Skyforest Voting Authority

Election year is upon us again. The Skyforest Voting Authority advises citizens to register for mandatory voting. Residents have until May 25th to register, or risk of a fine and imprisonment up to thirty years.

Not voting for the correct candidate only complicates the democratic process. Would-be voters are instructed to check the box for the unnamed Californian senator only.

Alert - large animal in area

As some in the community are aware, at 9:04 AM this morning, local resident Gary "Smitty" Smith claimed to have spotted what he called a wood ape. Smith claimed the creature stood over seven feet tall and weighed "at least 25 stones."

For those of you who do not know, sasquatch, or wood ape, sightings in this area are not uncommon, and are mostly attributed to bears, other large animals, and people under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Skyforest wants everyone to know that authoritarian forces are both trained, and equipped to handle the unknown.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about.

Camp Dueler is located on the outskirts of Skyforest. Since it's creation in 2008 as a philanthropic endeavor, the camp has become both a cultural gem and an enigma of summer fun. The first few years proved rough, but the now established camp is ready and willing to expand. The management of the camp wishes to introduce you to the team that keeps your kids safe and happy during the summer months.

Paul Dueler - owner/operator

Paul Dueler first constructed the camp after inheriting a large sum of money from his mogul father. Paul's mission is to help kids have fun, memorable, and safe summers. Dueler has proven himself to be an imaginative, disciplined, and resourceful manager.

"I haven't lost any kids yet, and we're not starting today."
- Paul Dueler, addressing parent concerns over the new camp zipline.

Paul has a spotless record when it comes to child safety, and wishes to extend that record well into the foreseeable future.

Tammy Levardo - accountant

Tammy Levardo took her first accounting job in the Crestline, California local government. Since leaving that post, she has maintained camp finances for Camp Dueler. Beginning in 2011, the soft spoken and rational accountant has proven herself to be a vital part of the camp staff.

HECTOR PHELPS - LEAD BOYS COUNSELOR

Phelps has always been a nature fanatic. Born in southern Oregon, Hector spent the majority of his youth living and playing in the woods. An eagle scout at age 18, Phelps spent five years as a national park ranger across southern California before starting his counseling career at Camp Dueler. He is a fourth year veteran of the camp.

Rebecca Morris - lead girls counselor

Rebecca Morris starting at Camp Dueler two years ago, but quickly made a name for herself as a confident and more importantly fun counselor. Her energetic attitude, and happy demeanor has helped her become the most popular counselor at the camp.

Ryan MATTHEWS - junior counselor

Matthews joined the Camp Dueler staff on a community service outreach program. He will be starting on the next camp season.

Ryan Matthews is in the community service program for a non-violent offense. Camp Dueler does NOT hire violent offenders, sexual offenders, or felons.

Courtney Levardo - junior counselor

Courtney is the daughter of camp accountant Tammy Levardo. Levardo is a self described "goth" and "hater of all things summer camp." She begins her counseling responsibilities the start of the next camp season.
